Cathedral City Firefighters Association to Support the M.D.A. During Its Annual “Fill the Boot” Charity Drive – April 21st and 22nd

Members of the Cathedral City Firefighters Association Local 3654 along with the Muscular Dystrophy Association, will kick off the firefighters’ annual “Fill the Boot” fundraising campaign to help save and improve the lives of people fighting muscle disease in the Cathedral City area. Since 2011, our local firefighters, with the support of the community, have raised $84,000 to help send kids to summer camp and served hundreds at the MDA clinics.

Muscular dystrophy, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and other related life-threatening diseases take away people’s ability to walk, move, smile, talk and even breathe.

Members of the Cathedral City Firefighters Association Local 3654 will collect donations with boots in hand for this year’s drive on April 21st and 22nd from 9 am – 1 pm, at the intersection of Ramon Road and Cathedral Canyon Drive in Cathedral City.

The men and women who serve to protect you every day are heroes in more ways than one!
