City of Cathedral City Accepting Applications by Non-Profits Who Are Interested in Selling “Safe and Sane” Fireworks During the 4th of July Holiday

The Cathedral City Fire Department will facilitate another year of Safe and Sane Fireworks sales, and enforcement of storage and discharge regulations for the 2016 Independence Day holiday.

Firework stand applications and program instructions will be available to non-profit groups beginning April 4 at 7AM. Applications must be submitted with a $100 non-refundable fee beginning at 7:30AM on April 11 until 4PM on April 14. Forms are available at the Cathedral City Fire Department. Administration Offices, 32-100 Desert Vista Rd, Cathedral City, and can also be downloaded from the Department’s website at www.cathedralcityfire.org.

The Fireworks Program is open to IRS exempt organizations. All fireworks stands must be operated by Cathedral City-based non-profit groups. For more information, please call (760) 770-8208.
