Westbound Highway 111 in Cathedral City Will Be Temporarily Closed on October 19th for the Annual CCHS Homecoming Parade
CATHEDRAL CITY, CA [October 16, 2017] Westbound traffic of East Palm Canyon Drive (Highway 111) in Cathedral City will be re-routed on Thursday, October 19, 2017 between 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm due to the annual Cathedral City High School Homecoming Parade in Downtown Cathedral City.
Westbound traffic on East Palm Canyon Drive will be re-routed north on Date Palm Drive to Perez Road. Drivers will turn left on Perez Road and head west to Cathedral Canyon Drive where they will turn left again and drive south to East Palm Canyon Drive.
Eastbound traffic on East Palm Canyon Drive will not be affected by the parade events and will remain open.
Motorists driving westbound on East Palm Canyon Drive should expect traffic delays due to the detour of traffic and construction work continuing on the Date Palm Bridge Widening Project.
