CATHEDRAL CITY, CA [March 11, 2019] The southeast bound lanes of East Palm Canyon Drive near the intersection of Date Palm Drive will receive a new slurry seal treatment and lane striping on Thursday, March 14, 2019 and Monday, March 18, 2019. East Palm Canyon Drive will remain open during the entire process; however, the southeast bound lanes will be reduced between the hours of 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. Motorists should expect significant delays and use alternative routes such as Dinah Shore Drive or Ramon Road. The northwest bound lanes will not be affected.
All lanes will reopen after the completion of each day’s work at 5:00 pm. Here is the anticipated work schedule:
Thursday, March 14, 2019 (Purple)
The center, outside, and right turn lanes of the southeast bound lanes of East Palm Canyon Drive from Date Palm Drive to Sungate Way
Monday, March 18, 2019 (Green)
The inside and left turn lanes of the southeast bound lanes of East Palm Canyon Drive from Date Palm Drive to Sungate Way
