Free COVID-19 Testing at Library to Continue through End of July

Residents can call (800) 945-6171 to schedule an appointment to be tested for COVID-19 at the Cathedral City Library, 33520 Date Palm Drive in Cathedral City.  The free testing will be for walk-up appointments made at least one day in advance and upon availability.  The testing center at the library has been extended to the end of July.

Upon arrival, staff will confirm the patient information and complete the test. All residents tested will receive a contact from the County regarding the results both negative and positive.

Staff will ask for your insurance information if you are covered by insurance.  You do not need insurance to be tested for free.  Per the CARES Act, all insurance companies will pay for their clients testing but no patient will be charged a copay for this testing.

The testing location will be open from Monday through Saturday from 8 am to 4 pm.  Call for an appointment by dialing (800) 945-6171.  English and Spanish speaking operators are available.
