Hot Breakfast & Balloon Race – Friday, November 18th
Enjoy an American Breakfast and watch nearly 50 Hot Air Balloons inflate on three ball fields at Big League Dreams Sports Park in Cathedral City as they prepare to ascend and race across the Coachella Valley to win prizes. These colorful works of art will rise above in a kaleidoscope of color, sound, and enjoyment.
This is the kick-off event for the Cathedral City 35th Anniversary & Balloon Festival.
The ticket purchase includes breakfast and the enjoyment of watching the balloons. All balloon events are planned weather permitting and with the approval of the FAA. No refunds. If the balloons are not able to fly for any reason, you will still be served breakfast and all attempts to provide a kaleidoscope of color, sound and enjoyment will be made.
Gates will open at 6 am. Balloon inflation will occur shortly after 6 a.m. Balloons will begin to take off and race around 7 a.m.
