The 3rd Annual Taste of Jalisco, presented by Sunniva, Inc., celebrates the sister city relationship between the cities of Cathedral City, California (USA) and Tequila, Jalisco (Mexico) through music, fashion, spirits, culture and cuisine. It is a time to recognize the strength in our diversity, appreciate our similarities, and expand our diplomatic commitment to improving the lives of both cities’ residents. The festival takes place on Saturday, February 10, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Festival Lawn in Downtown Cathedral City, located at 68600 East Palm Canyon Drive (HWY 111). Highlights include LIVE entertainment all day with a headline performance by Los Tiranos del Norte, Mexican inspired cuisine, Tequila Tastings and beer garden, an outdoor market, and a firework finale at 9:00 pm sponsored by Sunniva, Inc.

The festival kicks-off at 11:00 am with an Aztec dance group dressed in their native and ceremonial attire. Children will have the time of their lives playing in the free Kid Zone. The musical bands starting with Mariachi Limón De Javier Hernandez begin shortly after the festival opening welcome at noon. At 1:15, attendees will not want to miss the dancing horse show presented by Show Ecuestre del Rancho Arroyo y su Tamboraso Zacatecano with musical accompaniment by Vanessa “La Damita” Martinez & Mariachi Limon.

From 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm, the musical line-up includes Zable Norteno, Benjamin Flores con Mariachi, and the MYX.
As day turns into night, the musical entertainment continues with the performances by Grupo Musical Melodia Versatil, Hindsite, Nacho Bustillos y su Quinto Menguante, and the night’s headliner band, Los Tiranos del Norte at 8:00 pm. For the first time, attendees can reserve a table of eight people for the evening concerts and firework show between 5 pm and 9 pm. This new feature allows you to dance, shop, eat, and converse without the worry of losing your seat. Tables can be purchased at www.TasteOfJalisco.com.

Families will want to gather at 9:00 pm for the spectacular Taste of Jalisco Fireworks Show presented by Sunniva, Inc. The night sky in Downtown Cathedral City will light up with the dazzling array of pyrotechnics to music orchestrated by Garden State Fireworks, known for their shows in Los Angeles and Las Vegas.
