Special Notice: Memorial Services for Fallen Palm Spring Police Officers Zerebny and Vega & Post Memorial Service Processional through Cathedral City

Memorial Services for Fallen Officers Lesley Zerebny and Jose “Gil” Vega will take place on Tuesday, October 18th, at 11 a.m. The memorial service will take place at the Palm Springs Convention Center located at 277 North Avenida Caballeros, Palm Springs, CA 92262.
Graveside honors for Officer Jose “Gil” Vega will take place immediately following the memorial service and will be held at the Coachella Valley Public Cemetery, located at 82925 Avenue 52 in Coachella, CA.
Graveside honors for Officer Lesley Zerebny will take place at a private location open to family members only.
A Post Memorial Service Processional will occur on October 18th at approximately 1:00 pm from the Palm Springs Convention Center to the Coachella Valley Public Cemetery. The processional will enter and exit Cathedral City on Ramon Road only. Motorists should expect delays. Those who are unable to attend the memorial service may show their respect as the funeral procession passes along Ramon Road.
