Thousands Attend the 3rd Annual Taste of Jalisco Festival

The Taste of Jalisco Planning Committee thanks all the residents and visitors of our City for coming out and making the 3rd Annual Taste of Jalisco Festival a big success! The event celebrates our sister city, Tequila, Jalisco (Mexico) through food, fashion, spirits, culture and cuisine. It also gives our local businesses an opportunity to reach an audience that may have never walked through their doors. Additionally, the festival brings together friends, families, neighbors and communities to converse, break bread, enjoy LIVE music, and gain insight into a diverse culture from the state of Jalisco (Mexico). Many of our residents have family that come from, or currently live, in the state of Jalisco.

Cathedral City’s special events could not happen without the many dedicated volunteers and civic organizations, our Parks and Community Events Commission, the men and women of our Police and Fire Departments that plan extensively to keep us safe, local businesses who sponsor and help pay for the event, the heavy lift of our Public Works Department, and the vote of the City Council to bring life to our downtown for the betterment of all.

SAVE THE DATE: The 4th Annual Taste of Jalisco Festival is scheduled for Saturday, February 9, 2019 and will use the new Downtown Amphitheater near City Hall and the future home of CV Rep. Stay updated at www.TasteOfJalisco.com.
