Two New Restaurants Coming to Downtown in December
Last night, the City Council approved leases for two new restaurants to open adjacent to the Desert Cinemas UltraMAX Theater.
Chef Hector Salvatierra and his wife, Petra, are opening “Bontá Restaurant.” It will serve traditional and modern European cuisine with a Latin American flair. The main restaurant will offer lunch, dinner and Sunday Brunch. If you desire “quicks-serve” or take-out orders, then “Bontá” will offer that at the smaller entry next to the main restaurant. With so many special events coming to Downtown, the outdoor patio dining space at “Bontá” will surely be a prime spot.
Octavio and Jesus Almaraz are opening “Taqueria Los Arcos” restaurant at the corner of East Palm Canyon Drive and Cathedral Canyon Drive. The restaurant will offer cuisine with flavors originating from Queretaro, Mexico, located in central Mexico.
