Watch a Video Tour of Cathedral City’s First Medical Cannabis Cultivation Only Facility
PS Patients Collective is the first medical cannabis cultivation only facility that recently opened in Cathedral City. A cultivation only center grows medical cannabis that can be sold to medical cannabis pharmacies throughout California once it is harvested. These facilities are not retail facilities and therefore are not open to the public.
Follow along as Charles Kieley, President of PS Patients Collective and the great, great grandson of Nellie Coffman (known as the “Mother of Palm Springs”), provides a tour of the facility to City Manager Charles McClendon, Community Development Director Pat Milos, Fire Chief Paul Wilson and Police Chief George Crum. The tour shows the extensive amount of technical components used in planning, building, and ultimately growing cannabis for medical usage. You will also learn about fire suppression and security measures that are incorporated in each of these facilities as well as the technology to mitigate the odor from flowering cannabis plants.
