Let’s Hear It For The Volunteers
April is nationally recognized as National Volunteer Month, an annual celebration dedicated to honoring volunteering efforts around the world, and here in Cathedral City, we are proud to take this opportunity to express our heartfelt gratitude to the many dedicated individuals who give their time and talent to serve our community.
Volunteers are the backbone of our city and the Coachella Valley, supporting everything from food pantries, community clean-up efforts, and animal rescue to mentorship programs and youth leadership development and enrichment. Their work strengthens our connections and enhances the quality of life for all who live, work, and visit Cathedral City.
We would like to extend a special thank you to the volunteers who serve on the City’s commissions and committees. These community members generously offer their insights, experience, and energy to help support programs and guide important decisions that shape the future of Cathedral City. Their commitment to public service plays a vital role in maintaining transparency, accountability, and responsiveness in our local government.
