5th Annual Cathedral City Hot Air Balloon Festival Happens this Weekend!
The weather is forecasted to be beautiful as we prepare for the 5th Annual Cathedral City Hot Air Balloon Festival this weekend, November 16-18, 2018. FREE LIVE CONCERTS – Balloonapalooza!
Join us at the Main Stage on Saturday, November 17, 2018 located adjacent to the Festival Lawn in Downtown Cathedral City for LIVE music starting at 11 am through 9 pm. Highlights include “Woodstock Revisited” a tribute to the 1969 Woodstock concert starting at 2 pm and “Hollywood U2” – the best tribute band of “U2”, starting at 7 pm. You will think the lead singer is Bono himself.

Kid Zone (a variety of bouncy houses, face painting, and characters) Saturday, November 17, 2018 from 11 am to 4 pm, in front of CVRep Theatre, 68-510 East Palm Canyon Drive. $10 per child. Cathedral City residents get a $5.00 discount per ticket.
Banana Balloon Candy Drop – Saturday, November 17, 2018, 11 am – Festival Lawn, 68-600 East Palm Canyon Drive, Cathedral City. A giant banana balloon will lower to the ground, and once landed, kids can rush inside the Festival Lawn to grab up to 10,000 pieces of candy thanks to La Michoacana Dulceria / Candy Shop for free.
Outdoor Market
Bring your shopping bags as you will want to grab up the many bargains at the Balloon Festival’s Outdoor Market featuring more than 30 vendors. They will have art, jewelry, shoes, clothing, accessories, household goods, and balloon souvenirs. The outdoor market is open from 11 am to 9 pm in Downtown Cathedral City with free admission.
