Garage SalesBy Code Compliance Division As spring arrives and the weather cools, it’s a great time to have a garage sale. If you’re considering having a garage sale, please keep these things in mind:
• A garage sale permit is required, at a cost of $25, and may be obtained at City Hall during normal office hours (Monday – Thursday, 7:00 am – 6:00 pm).
• Each residence may have up four (4) garage sales per year, with a minimum of ninety (90) days between each sale.
• A garage sale can be requested for up to three consecutive days, and are allowed between the hours of 7:00 am – 6:00 pm.
• Two (2) signs are provided with each permit. Additional signs may be purchased for $5.00 each. No other types of signs are permitted. All signs must be removed at the end of the sale.
