CATHEDRAL CITY FIRE DEPARTMENT - NEW RESCUE EQUIPMENT

Cathedral City Fire Department has been approved by the California Office of Traffic Safety to receive a grant to purchase a complement of rescue tools to be housed at Fire Station 413 (27-610 Landau Blvd), near Interstate 10. Cathedral City Fire Department (CCFD) is responsible for primary rescue response to all traffic collisions that occur within its 23 square miles. …

35 Balloon Glow for Cathedral City's 35th Anniversary

Simply spectacular! Thousands came downtown Cathedral City tonight to enjoy a 35 hot air balloon glow to music that went on for nearly an hour. Here are a few glimpses. Early Years of Cathedral City

The Cathedral City Historical Society presents “The Early Years” featuring a special month long exhibit of vintage photos, aerial views, casino memorabilia, and much more. The exhibit is open every Saturday and Sunday from 1 pm to 4 pm at the Cathedral City Art Gallery at City Hall, located at 68700 Avenida Lalo Guerrero (doors located at the southeast wing of City Hall – closest to the Mary Pickford Theatre).

Desert Oasis Market

A weekly open air market returns to Cathedral City starting October 25th at the Welk Resort located at 34567 Cathedral Canyon Drive. Every Tuesday evening from 4 pm to 8 pm, the producers of the Palm Springs Vintage Market will bring together a variety of vendors including fresh produce, food, jewelry, art, accessories & apparel while you listen to local, LIVE music. Free admission and free parking.

Movies in the Park

Gather the family, blankets and/or chairs for “Movies in the Park” located this season at Ocotillo Park, 33300 Moreno Road in Cathedral City. The free event every month at 7:00 pm, except for the month of May, which begins at 8:30 pm due to daylight savings time.

You are welcome to bring snacks or non-alcoholic drinks, but you can also purchase them from the movie organizers at the park’s concession stand. Great Family FUN!

Town Square Art Affaire- Art Show

"Town Square Art Affaire" presented by West Coasts Artists comes to Cathedral City on January 21 and 22, 2017 from 10 am to 5 pm. This event showcases high quality art from more than 70 artists. It will also be located on the new Festival Lawn along East Palm Canyon Drive. Read more.
