Cathedral City Wants Your Input on How to Spend Community Development Funds

The City of Cathedral City receives funding from the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development to address economic and community development as well as other needs in our community.  In the past five years, the funds have been used for the following types of projects and programs:

  • Street, Gutter, and Sidewalk Improvements
  • Health Services for Low-income Families
  • Youth Programs
  • Homeless Services
  • Services for People with Disabilities
  • Fair Housing Programs

Cathedral City is currently developing a plan on how to spend these funds over the next five years and wants your opinion on the needs within your neighborhood. Your opinion is very important and will help the City determine the best use of the money received from the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development.  We invite you to go online and complete two surveys. To make sure your comments are considered, the survey must be completed by January 4th, 2022.
