The Shredding Events are the first Saturday of the month October thru May.\nYou’re not limited to the items listed – bring all your sensitive documents. \nSATURDAY: 2025 October 4\, November 1 and December 6\n2026 January 3\, February 7\, March 7\, April 4 and May 2 \nTIME: 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.\nLOCATION: 68700 Avenida Lalo Guerrero \nEXAMPLES OF DOCUMENTS:\nLegal documents\nMedical records\nFinancial statements\nAccounting files/records\nPersonnel files\nPayroll records\nBank statements\nTax records\nContracts\nReceipts/invoices\nCancelled checks\nPhotographs\nCredit card documents \nFor more information call (760) 770-0369 or email dpressgrove@cathedralcity.gov. \nTIPS:\n➤ You do not need to remove paper clips\,\nstaples\, file folders\, report covers\, envelopes\nor binder clips from your documents.\n➤ You can bring your documents in boxes\nor plastic bags.\nRESTRICTIONS:\n➤ Limited to Cathedral City RESIDENTS only.\n➤ Be prepared to show proof of residency or bring this postcard to the event.\n➤ Limit 5 banker sized boxes per resident or household.\n➤ No businesses allowed.\n➤ Remove all trash items from your boxes or bags!\n➤ Items like pens\, pencils or regular household trash cannot be shredded.\nMORE:\n➤ Your documents will be shredded on site – you will be able to witness the entire process.\n➤ Arrive early – once the shredding truck is filled to capacity the event will end.\n➤ This is a free event – there is no charge to shred your documents.
