A nearly 20-year veteran of the Cathedral City Police Department\, Chief Sanchez rose through the ranks since joining as a police officer in 2006 and makes history as the first Latino to lead the department. \nJoin us in Council Chambers as Chief Sanchez is formally sworn in to lead our department into its next chapter.
