They describe their sound as “Chicano desert rock\,” blending elements of blues\, psychedelia\, and the spacey guitar riffs characteristic of desert rock. Fronted by Cathedral City native Giselle Woo\, who provides both English and Spanish in her raw yet melodic vocals\, the band incorporates her local roots into their music. The band’s lineup consists of Giselle Woo on vocals and rhythm guitar\, Christian Colin on lead guitar\, Marco Murietta on bass\, and José Ceja on drums. Formed in 2018\, Giselle Woo & The Night Owls have become a staple in the Greater Palm Springs music scene.
