SUMMARY:Summer Movie Series
DESCRIPTION:The Cathedral City Parks and Community Events Commission (PACE)\, in partnership with the Mary Pickford Theatre\, presents the return of the “Free Summer Kids Movie Series” happening every Friday at 11:00 a.m. starting Friday\, June 16\, 2023\, thru Friday\, August 4\, 2023. Doors open at 10:30 a.m. The film series offers free admission to see a different movie geared towards kids each Friday morning at the Mary Pickford Theatre in Downtown Cathedral City. \nThe Cathedral City Parks and Community Events Commission will be offering free water and a small popcorn for the first fifty kids at each event during the 8-week period. The cost for this participation is $450 from the FY 2022-2023 PACE Small Events Budget\, which was approved by the City Council at the regular meeting on Wednesday\, May 24\, 2023. \nSeating is limited and residents can pick up the free Priority Line Passes one week in advance at the following location: \n\nCathedral City Public Library\, 33520 Date Palm Drive\n\nYou may still attempt to go to the film series without a Priority Line Pass\, but you will be placed in a standby line.
