DESCRIPTION:The City of Cathedral City is excited to announce Agua Caliente Casinos\, the award-winning premier destination for entertainment in the Coachella Valley\, as the title sponsor for the 10th-anniversary event\, which will take place Friday\, Nov. 22 – Sunday\, Nov. 24\, 2024. The festival will feature live food truck vendors from Southern California\, a beer and wine garden\, tethered balloon rides\, a car show\, kid zones\, live music\, and more. This is the fourth year Agua Caliente Casinos will launch their marquee racing balloon to kick off the festivities. \nLeAnn Rimes was announced as the headline performer for the 10th anniversary of the Cathedral City International Hot Air Balloon Festival at this year’s State of the City event on May 16\, 2024. The concert will take place in the Cathedral City Community Amphitheater at 5 p.m. on Saturday\, Nov. 23\, 2024\, with opening act Emily West performing an acoustic set at 4 p.m. The concert will be followed by a 7 p.m. balloon glow in Downtown Cathedral City. \nConcert tickets to see international multi-platinum-selling acclaimed singer/songwriter LeAnn Rimes at this year’s Cathedral City International Hot Air Balloon Festival are now on sale. Additionally\, 1\,000 free general admission tickets for Cathedral City residents\, ages 21 years and older\, are available for pickup at Agua Caliente Casino Cathedral City\, 68960 E Palm Canyon Dr\, Cathedral City\, CA 92234. A valid form of ID or proof of residency is required\, which is good for one ticket per resident. \nVisit Greater Palm Springs honored the Cathedral City Hot Air Balloon Festival with the Palm Award for Visitor Experience on Monday\, Oct. 30\, 2023\, at the Champions of Hospitality Awards Gala. The festival has grown over its short time span from attracting several thousand attendees locally from its inception in 2015 to bringing in more than 25\,000 attendees regionally. Most attendees are from outside of Cathedral City and the Coachella Valley as this event has generated a tremendous interest from the California coast and beyond.

He has performed the score live at THE HOLLYWOOD BOWL\, BARCLAY CENTER N.Y. Twice at LONDON’S – SSE\, OVO ARENA\, WEMBLEY as well as Tokyo\, Glasgow\, Dublin and Los Angeles’ Banc of California Stadium. Ken has also voiced all the subsequent video games\, Disney Park attractions etc. Film: DREAMGIRLS\, TORCH SONG TRILOGY\, ALL DOGS GO TO HEAVEN etc. BROADWAY: GUYS AND DOLLS\, Nicely-Nicely Johnson (All-black revival\, THEATRE WORLD AWARD). He recreated that role at THE HOLLYWOOD BOWL where he also performed the role of SEBASTIAN in THE LITTLE MERMAID\, live to film.
