This fundraising dinner will be held at Meester Zebra Restaurant in Cathedral City. \n\nDate: Wednesday\, May 21\, 2025\nTime: 5pm-8pm\nLocation: Meester Zebra Restaurant\, 68703 Perez Rd\, Ste A-1\, Cathedral City\n\nAttendees are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items for the Cathedral City Senior Center Food Bank. Gallery’s mission is to actively engage youth as stewards of their environment through a concentrated\, hands-on\, educational effort to build a creative culture of sustainability in our schools and community. They are committed to working to create a more just\, equitable\, and sustainable future for people and the planet. S.C.R.A.P. links industry\, education\, the arts\, and the environment. Its programs feature environmental presentations\, exhibits\, workshops\, and interactive lessons – using reused and recycled materials from the S.C.R.A.P. Gallery Warehouse\, directly diverting materials from the landfill.

SUMMARY:Free Kids Summer Movie Series 2025
DESCRIPTION:The Cathedral City Parks and Community Events Commission (PACE)\, in partnership with the Mary Pickford Theatre\, presents the return of the “Free Summer Kids Movie Series” happening every Friday at 10:00 a.m. starting Friday\, June 13\, 2025\, through Friday\, August 1\, 2025. Doors open at 9:30 a.m. The film series offers free admission to see a different movie geared towards kids each Friday morning at the Mary Pickford Theatre in Downtown Cathedral City.\n\n\nThe Cathedral City Parks and Community Events Commission will be offering free water and a small popcorn for the first 100 kids at each event during the 8-week period. The total cost for refreshments is $1\,200 for the 8-week series\, with generous sponsorship from Dinner with Patsi covering $800 and the remaining $400 funded through the PACE events budget. \nFree books will be available at every movie donated by the Read With Me Volunteer Programs. A book will also be read by the Cathedral City Library before every movie. \nTickets and Seating \nSeating is limited and residents can pick up free passes at the Cathedral City Library located at 33520 Date Palm Drive. Flyers and tickets will also be distributed during the last week of school and to partner organizations including Desert Arc\, Behavioral Lab\, and the Salvation Army. You may still attempt to go to the film series without a pass\, but you will be placed in a standby line. Once priority pass holders are seated\, those waiting in the standby line will be admitted if seats are still available. \nLast year’s series broke attendance records with 1\,737 kids and parents participating over the 8-week period. \nCommunity Partners \nDinner with Patsi is the presenting sponsor for the 2025 series\, providing major funding support and will receive sponsorship recognition on all promotional materials and at each event. Read With Me Volunteer Programs will continue their partnership by providing free books at every movie.
