Food Bank and Fit After 50 Now at the Cathedral City Senior Center

The Cathedral City Senior Center has announced two expanded programs, a “Supplemental Food Bank” and “Fit After 50” exercise class.

The Supplemental Food Bank offers fresh, boxed, canned and frozen foods while supplies last every Monday from 9:00 am to 11:00 am.  You do not have to be a senior as there is no age, income or residency requirements.  The food bank is free.  Simply enter through the Center’s patio gate and follow the signs.

Additionally on Mondays at 1:00 pm is a new exercise program entitled, “Fit After 50”.  This is a free, low-impact, and 50-minute in duration exercise class designed to increase social and physical well-being.  It has been designed by the American Arthritis Foundation.

For more information about these two programs, simply call the Senior Center at (760) 321-1548.
