DESCRIPTION:The City of Cathedral City is excited to announce Agua Caliente Casinos\, the award-winning premier destination for entertainment in the Coachella Valley\, as the title sponsor for the 10th-anniversary event\, which will take place Friday\, Nov. 22 – Sunday\, Nov. 24\, 2024. The festival will feature live food truck vendors from Southern California\, a beer and wine garden\, tethered balloon rides\, a car show\, kid zones\, live music\, and more. This is the fourth year Agua Caliente Casinos will launch their marquee racing balloon to kick off the festivities. \nLeAnn Rimes was announced as the headline performer for the 10th anniversary of the Cathedral City International Hot Air Balloon Festival at this year’s State of the City event on May 16\, 2024. The concert will take place in the Cathedral City Community Amphitheater at 5 p.m. on Saturday\, Nov. 23\, 2024\, with opening act Emily West performing an acoustic set at 4 p.m. The concert will be followed by a 7 p.m. balloon glow in Downtown Cathedral City. \nConcert tickets to see international multi-platinum-selling acclaimed singer/songwriter LeAnn Rimes at this year’s Cathedral City International Hot Air Balloon Festival are now on sale. Additionally\, 1\,000 free general admission tickets for Cathedral City residents\, ages 21 years and older\, are available for pickup at Agua Caliente Casino Cathedral City\, 68960 E Palm Canyon Dr\, Cathedral City\, CA 92234. A valid form of ID or proof of residency is required\, which is good for one ticket per resident. \nVisit Greater Palm Springs honored the Cathedral City Hot Air Balloon Festival with the Palm Award for Visitor Experience on Monday\, Oct. 30\, 2023\, at the Champions of Hospitality Awards Gala. The festival has grown over its short time span from attracting several thousand attendees locally from its inception in 2015 to bringing in more than 25\,000 attendees regionally. Most attendees are from outside of Cathedral City and the Coachella Valley as this event has generated a tremendous interest from the California coast and beyond.

DESCRIPTION:Get the cameras ready for the festival that offers the best selfies.  Agua Caliente Casinos present the 7th Annual Cathedral City Hot Air Balloon Festival and Food Truck Fiesta on November 19-21\, 2021 featuring nearly 30 hot air balloons\, balloon rides\, two balloon glows\, and three morning balloon launches seen throughout the Coachella Valley.  Attendees will capture the beauty of several new hot air balloons to the festival this year including Agua Caliente Casinos’ new self-branded hot air balloon currently being manufactured in time for the event. \nOther activities happening at the balloon festival include the amazing Art Affaire at Town Square art show\, the best food trucks in SoCal\, Beer and Wine Gardens\, Kid Zone\, Banana Balloon Candy Drop\, and LIVE musical entertainment at both the Agua Caliente Casino Cathedral City and the new Cathedral City Community Amphitheater.  Returning for their second appearance at the festival will be “Hollywood U2” – a spectacular tribute band to the legendary group\, U2\, on Friday night.  More activities will be announced soon including the ability to purchase tickets to the many activities throughout the festival weekend that occurs right before Thanksgiving.  Guests should book their hotel rooms soon at the Westin Mission Hills Golf Resort & Spa\, the place where the balloon pilots stay and where the Friday night balloon glow occurs. \nFor the latest festival information\, go to www.HotAirBalloonFest.com.
