Palm Springs Elks Lodge Donates Supplies to Shelter from the Storm

Mayor Mark Carnevale and fellow members of the Palm Springs Elks Lodge #1905 helped raise money to purchase eight home starter kits for domestic violence survivors and clients of Shelter from the Storm.  These kits provide essential kitchen items needed to prepare and serve meals as survivors often flee an abusive situation with little or no personal property.

Over the past 65 years, the Palm Springs Elks Lodge located in Cathedral City has donated over $5.8 million to the surrounding community.   For more information about this non-profit organization, please contact Caprice Leinonen or Jeffrey Kramer at (760) 328-2554 or go to https://www.elks.org/lodges/home.cfm?LodgeNumber=1905.
