Cathedral City Mayor Rita Lamb and Desert Recreation District PIO/Legislative Affairs Scott Sear joined Patrick Evans on KESQ News Channel 3 to talk about the summer swim program and Sunday's Open House (video interview above). The event was also previewed in The Desert Sun.
The City, Palm Springs Unified School District and Desert Recreation District will once again provide recreational swim sessions and swim lessons at the Cathedral City High School pool. The pool, located at 69250 Dinah Shore Drive, Cathedral City, CA 92234, will be open to Cathedral City residents from Sunday, June 11 – Saturday, Aug. 5, 2023. Mayor and a few members of the City Council will also be sporting 20s style swimsuits at the event to add a little fun, and we hope to do an official “first splash” in the pool.
