Cathedral City Senior Center – Pasta Dinner Fundraiser
October 20 @ 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm$25
Come and enjoy an array of pasta, friends, and music at the 2nd Annual Pasta Dinner on Friday, October 20, starting at 6 p.m. and located at the Cathedral City Senior Center. Nicolino’s Italian Restaurant, one of Cathedral City’s signature eateries, will present an elegant pasta bar with an array of sauce choices.
Specialty Cellars of Santa Fe Springs will be offering tastings of four different wines, two white and two red. When you choose the wine, you can also purchase a bottle of wine to take to your table. Wine expert Lisa Wherry will be talking about the wines offered by her winery.
Door prizes include a 40-inch flat-screen television, some travel options, theater tickets and a massage from Body Concierge of Cathedral City. We’re expecting approximately 100 people. We’re planning to line up live music to add to the Italian atmosphere.
A small group of center clients and friends have been assisting Executive Director Robert McKechnie and Operations Manager Ron Casidine with the planning. Other planners include Sharon Alves Perry, Paul Bruner, Alice Daby, Beverly Gaines, Christie Littell, Nena Mccullough, Bill Strusz, and Eric Davis.
Sponsors include Nicolino’s Italian Restaurant, Inter Valley Health Plan, Desert Legal Aid, Bones ‘n’ Scones, The Shelley Kaplan Trust, Riverside County Supervisor Manuel Perez, Senior Advocates of the Desert, Burrtec Waste and Recycling Services, Coca Cola, Palm Springs Motors, Specialty Cellars of Santa Fe Springs, and The City of Cathedral City
Don’t miss this larger than life event. It’s definitely going to be one of the most memorable dinner gatherings of the new season.
