The Cathedral City Hot Air Balloon Festival proudly brings one of the best art shows in the Coachella Valley to its list of activities, “Art Affaire at Town Square,” November 19 and 20, 2021.  Located at Town Square Park in front of City Hall and surrounding the beautiful Fountain of Life art/water sculpture, the exhibition will feature original work in all mediums of fine art and fine craft. Best of all, these artworks are available for purchase.

Featured artists include KC Klug of Hemet, CA. Klug has been creating and his Fired Glass and Raku Pottery for over 30 years. His work can be found in private and corporate collections throughout the United States.

Judy Brandon Jewelry Studio of Simi Valley, CA will present her beautifully designed, handcrafted necklaces, earrings, and bracelets. Brandon has been designing and handcrafting jewelry since 2000. Using precious and semi-precious gemstones with 14kt gold fill as well as sterling silver, her designs are elegant and refined. The attention to detail, creativity, and unique blending of materials have made her pieces popular throughout the country.

Jason Nelson’s fascination with color began at the age of five. After pursuing formal studies in Animation Art his interests turned toward Art and Design. Nelson started with Watercolors and in 2014 he changed to Oils and was quickly rewarded. He starts the painting process with only a handful of primary colors eliminating black altogether, instead using deep blues and purples to characterize his shadows. “Using a simpler color palette then mixing to get the secondary colors” is his preferred method for creating a fresh color palette at the start of each painting. Nelson resides in Spring Valley, CA.

Photographer Michael Farnsworth from Shelburne, Vermont, has always felt a strong connection to nature. Farnsworth earned his photography degree from Briarcliffe College in New York. His traveling companion is his dog, Ollie. Traveling together throughout the United States, Farnsworth has built his art fair Gallery and will present his works at the Town Square Art Affaire.
