Beat the heat this summer at Cathedral City High School pool! The City Council of Cathedral City has once again approved a three-party joint-use agreement between the City, Palm Springs Unified School District and Desert Recreation District to provide recreational swim sessions and swim lessons at the Cathedral City High School pool.
The pool, located at 69250 Dinah Shore Drive, Cathedral City, CA 92234, will be open to Cathedral City residents from Monday, June 10 – Friday, Aug. 9, 2024. Additionally, the City Councilmembers have allocated a total of $3,300 to fund scholarships for local youth wishing to participate in swim lessons.
Summer 2024 CCHS Pool Operating Schedule:
- Monday and Wednesday from 10:00am to 4:00pm
- Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8:00am to 4:00pm
- Saturday from 8:00am to 4:00pm
- The pool will be closed to public use from 8:00am to 10:00am Mondays and Wednesdays for the use of the CCHS swim team and on Sundays.
Desert Recreation District (DRD) will provide the following programs:
- Community swimming lessons
- Recreational swimming
- Lap swimming
- Team swimming
- Water aerobics
- Water polo programs
- Special Events (dive in movies)
