Cathedral City Seeks Two Community Members To Serve on Its Vacation Rental Task Force

In accordance to the City Council Meeting of September 14, 2016, the City Council directed staff to establish a Vacation Rental Task Force. Its mission is to discuss issues and resolutions related to short-term vacation rentals in Cathedral City as well as discussions on fees and ordinances related to the same.

The City is seeking two members of the community that would represent the general population. You must be willing and available to participate on this Task Force. If you are interested in serving on the Vacation Rental Task Force in this capacity please send an email to City Manager, Charles McClendon at cmcclendon@cathedralcity.gov or a letter indicating your interest and why you feel you should be appointed.

The deadline to submit your letter or email of interest is September 29, 2016, by the close of the business day. If you have any questions please contact Tracey Martinez, Deputy City Clerk at 760 770-0322 or email at tmartinez@cathedralcity.gov.
