City of Cathedral City Announces Upcoming Vacancies for Commissions and Committees

The following Commissions/Committees will have seats expiring on June 30, 2023:

  • Architectural Review Committee – 3 vacancies (1 seat is required to be a Licensed Architect and 1 seat is required to be a licensed Landscape Architect or someone that has a license, certificate, degree, training, or work experience in the same field determined to be relevant by the City Council)
  • Historic Preservation Committee – 2 vacancies
  • Mobile Home Fair Practices Commission – 1 vacancy
  • Parks & Community Events Commission – 1 vacancy
  • Planning Commission – 2 vacancies
  • Public Arts Commission – 1 vacancy
  • Finance Advisory Committee – 4 vacancies

Applications for the various terms expiring will be accepted through Friday, June 2, 2023. Please submit your application to the office of the City Clerk, 68-700 Avenida Lalo Guerrero, Cathedral City, CA 92234. Applications can be downloaded from the City’s website at www.cathedralcity.gov.

Appointments made for these seats will be for a three-year term that will begin on July 1, 2023.
