Come Celebrate Cathedral City’s First “Bark Park”
The South Bark Park Group invites Cathedral City residents and their lovable dogs to join them and KMIR’s “Manny the Movie Guy” for a celebration of Cathedral City’s first dog park on Monday morning, August 11th, starting at 5:45 am. The dog park is located adjacent to Second Street Park at 68941 Buddy Rogers Avenue in Cathedral City.
Not only is this a fun park for dogs, it is also a “green” park. The ground cover uses composted palm fronds eliminating the need for grass and water. It also utilizes “recycled ingredients” for most items including pet waste bags, shade structures and benches, and donated tennis balls from a local tennis club.
Join the fun Monday morning or come by any day as the park is currently open from dawn to dusk.
