The City of Cathedral City wishes to inform residents, visitors, and members of the media of upcoming construction on East Palm Canyon Drive for pavement repair work.
WHEN:
- Thursday, June 25, 2026
- Work hours: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
WHERE:
East Palm Canyon Drive (Eastbound), between Date Palm Drive and Sungate Way
WHAT:
Crews will conduct utility trench repairs. Eastbound lanes closed, alternating in two phases (at least one lane will remain open at all times)
TRAFFIC IMPACT:
Drivers should expect lane reductions and possible delays during the work windows listed above. Please reduce speed in the Cone Zone, watch for workers and equipment, and consider alternate routes when possible.
