NOTICE OF CONSTRUCTION

The City Council of Cathedral City awarded a construction contract to Riverside Construction Company in the amount of $3,884,603 for the construction of the Cathedral Canyon Drive Sidewalks and Multiuse Trail and Date Palm Drive Expansion Projects.

Starting March 4, 2024, through June 2024, Riverside Construction Company will be constructing a sidewalk and multiuse trail along Cathedral Canyon Drive from Dinah Shore to the Ofelia Bringas bridge. There will also be an installation of speed feedback signs and a high intensity activated crosswalk (HAWK) on Cathedral Canyon Drive near Calle Trujillo.

The construction hours will be from 7:00AM to 5:30PM, Monday through Friday.

The City of Cathedral City will do our best not to inconvenience residents and normal business operations. The City appreciates your cooperation and patience during the construction of this Project.

Subject:   LANDAU BOULEVARD/MCCALLUM WAY INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT (C08662)

NOTICE OF CONSTRUCTION

The City Council of Cathedral City awarded a construction contract to DBX Inc. in the amount of $1,021,888.50 for the construction of the Landau Boulevard/McCallum Way Intersection Improvements Project.

Starting Feb. 26, 2024, through June 2024, DBX Inc. will be installing a new traffic signal at Landau Boulevard and McCallum Way. The Project will also include reconstruction of the existing asphalt pavement and outdated curb ramps with new asphalt concrete pavement, ADA compliant curb ramps, and concrete approach lanes at the intersection.

The construction hours will be from 7:30AM to 5:30PM, Monday through Friday.
