S.C.R.A.P. Gallery Sustainable Community Series
Join S.C.R.A.P. Gallery in their Sustainable Community Series on May 7th from 5-7pm and on May 24th from 4-5:30pm at the Cathedral City Public Library where kids can craft and learn at several activity stations: Build a Bird’s Nest – It’s a Blue Planet – Earth Day is Every Day. This event is made possible by the generous support of Anderson Children’s Foundation.
S.C.R.A.P. Gallery’s mission is to actively engage youth as stewards of their environment through a concentrated, hands-on, educational effort to build a creative culture of sustainability in our schools and community. They are committed to working to create a more just, equitable, and sustainable future for people and the planet. S.C.R.A.P. links industry, education, the arts, and the environment. Its programs feature environmental presentations, exhibits, workshops, and interactive lessons – using reused and recycled materials from the S.C.R.A.P. Gallery Warehouse, directly diverting materials from the landfill.
