Watch the “World Series” on the largest screen in the Coachella Valley at Cathedral City’s Desert Cinemas – Free

The City of Cathedral City and the UltraMAXimum Experience at Desert Cinemas are teaming up together to invite San Francisco Giants and Kansas City Royals fans as well as all other sports fans to view the World Series on the largest screen in the Coachella Valley for free on Tuesday, October 21st and Wednesday, October 22nd.

“There is no other place than at Desert Cinemas to catch the biggest game on the largest curved screen in the Valley,” said Chris Parman, Cathedral City’s Events Manager. “Throw in the theater’s incredible digital surround sound and you got the ingredients for a fantastic family-fun event.”

Doors of the theater will open at 4:00 pm and seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. The theater holds 250 seats. The World Series is scheduled to air at 5:07 pm.

“Join us for a viewing experience like no other,” stated Damon Rubio, Executive Vice President of Operations at UltraStar Cinemas. “If you cannot be at the game in Kansas City or San Francisco, then come and enjoy the UltraMAXimum experience which will make you feel like you’re sitting behind home plate.”

“This is just another example of how changing to the UltraMAXimum format allows us to better serve our community,” explained General Manager Ted Hane. “Our hope is that guests will come to enjoy this experience for free and then better understand how seeing a movie like Interstellar, which open November 7th in UltraMAXimum is the best viewing experience in the valley.”
