The City of Cathedral City is currently accepting applications for several upcoming vacancies on various Commissions and Committees. These positions offer residents an opportunity to serve their community and participate in local governance.

Current Vacancies

The following positions are available:

Vacancies with Terms Expiring June 30, 2025

  • Planning Commission: 1 Seat (District 4)
  • Architectural Review Committee: 2 Seats
    • District 1 (Term begins July 1, 2025)
    • District 2 (Term begins July 1, 2025)
  • Historic Preservation Committee: 3 Seats
    • District 4 (Term begins July 1, 2025)
    • District 5 (Term begins July 1, 2025)
    • District 1 (Term begins immediately)
  • Parks and Community Events Commission: 1 Seat (District 1)
  • Public Arts Commission: 1 Seat (District 1)

Vacancies with Immediate Appointment

  • Finance Advisory Committee: 1 Seat (Entire Council)
  • Mobile Home Fair Practices Commission: 1 Seat (Entire Council)
