Residents, City Leaders Come Together for Cathedral City Fire’s Breakfast Celebrating New Ambulance

The Cathedral City Fire Department welcomed residents to an open house and breakfast celebrating the unveiling of the City’s new ambulance on Saturday, March 4, 2023, at 32100 Desert Vista Cathedral City, CA 92234. The event also included a service and badge pinning ceremony for our newest members of Cathedral City Fire.

Firefighters served hundreds of hungry guests a hearty breakfast of pancakes, eggs, sausage and bacon. The new ambulance will allow the Cathedral City Fire Department to keep three identical ambulances in the fleet and lower anticipated maintenance costs for the next several years.

Residents who have a medical emergency are transported via ambulance to local hospitals by the Cathedral City Fire Department. The city’s highly trained first responders offer the fastest response times and charge patients some of the lowest fees for service in the Coachella Valley.
