Snow-Fest a Big Hit with an Even Bigger Crowd

Snow-Fest a Big Hit with an Even Bigger Crowd

Thousands from the community gathered to celebrate the holidays at Snow-Fest on Saturday, December 9th from 5 pm to 9 pm in Downtown Cathedral City.

The festival included a very nice holiday light parade, LIVE entertainment from several groups, holiday merchants, food vendors, tree lighting ceremony with Mayor Henry, Santa Claus arrival, holiday raffle of great prizes, free family movie at the Mary Pickford Theatre, free passes to Desert Ice Castle, and even some snow bubbles for kids play. Best of all, the festival offered free admission and free parking for our families.

Being our first year, we were thrilled with the community response and plans are already in the works to make next year even better! Check back in a few months at www.SnowFest.us for updates.

Having community events brings residents, neighbors, and visitors to our downtown and helps generate revenue and excitement for our current businesses and helps to attract new businesses along Highway 111.

Happy Holidays!
