Check out the latest episode of CCTV’s “The Art of Cathedral City” highlighting professional theater and live performance in downtown Cathedral City!
Host Conrad Angel Corral recently visited Coachella Valley Repertory (CVRep), located at 68510 East Palm Canyon Drive in the heart of Cathedral City’s downtown arts district. Executive Artistic Director Adam Karsten joined Conrad to preview CVRep’s powerhouse 2026 Summer Cabaret Series — nine weeks of award-winning singers, musicians, dancers, and storytellers performing Tuesdays and Thursdays from June 2 through July 30.
The series kicks off Tuesday, June 2, 2026, with the irrepressible and irresistible award-winning actor, singer, dancer, and director Jason Graae in his new show, It’s a Graae Night for Singing! A beloved presence on the CVRep stage, Graae premiered the show to sold-out audiences in Los Angeles and at 54 Below in New York City. Known for infusing everything from clever novelty numbers to tender ballads with his singular wit and heart, Graae sets the tone for a summer of unforgettable evenings. Color him Graasome! He is joined by music director and accompanist Gerald Sternbach.
From there, the lineup reads like a who’s who of Broadway, concert halls, and nightclubs around the world. Karsten shared with Conrad that this year’s roster brings together longtime CVRep favorites and several exciting company debuts, all performing in the theater’s intimate setting where every seat feels close to the stage.
