The 9th Annual Sammy’s International Meatball Festival is happening virtually now through Sunday, October 17, 2021. Being virtual, one must use their imagination on how “tasty” the meatballs are through videos submitted by various individuals, groups, and organizations. You can view the videos (some instructional, many humorous) and vote with dollars for your favorite meatball video. Awards are given to the contestants just like they would be handed out if the festival was happening in person.
There are two categories of videos, Amateur and Municipal. Eleven contestants are competing for the Amateur category and eight contestants are competing for the Municipal category. Since 2020, the competitors have raised their video prowess and have created videos just as good as the taste of the meatballs.
