“Yoga at the Amphitheater” Brings Eighty Plus Participants

On Tuesday, February 1st, the first class of “Yoga at the Amphitheater” taught by professional yoga instructor Patti Wexler brought 86 participants on its first day exceeding all expectations of the organizers.  Wexler has been teaching yoga for more than 20 years and has quite a following according to several participants.  She teaches Power Yoga, also known as Flow Yoga, where you do several yoga poses, one right after another.  The free classes, which will run through Tuesday, April 26th, are open to the public and occur every Tuesday morning from 10 am to 11 am at the Cathedral City Community Amphitheater, 68526 Avenida Lalo Guerrero.  No matter what level of experience you currently have, the classes are designed for you to be able to participate and put you on a path towards greater flexibility, balance, and strength.  There is no need to sign-up, just simply show up.  You should consider bringing your own yoga mat, bottled water, and towel.  A limited number of mats are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.  Parking is free, abundant, and just steps from the new amphitheater.

As Mayor Pro Tem Rita Lamb stated, “the location was epic, the instructor was just perfect, and the response to the community was just wonderful.”

The next yoga class happens on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at 10 am at the Cathedral City Community Amphitheater.  Come join the fun and learn first-hand the benefits of yoga.
