Cathedral City Fire and EMS (CCFE) is inviting community members to share their voices in the 2026 External Stakeholder Survey — a short, community-focused questionnaire designed to help the department better serve residents, visitors, and local businesses in the year ahead.
Your Feedback Shapes Real Decisions
This isn’t a survey that disappears into a drawer. Community input directly informs CCFE’s Strategic Plan and Community Risk Assessment — the same foundational documents that guide how the department deploys resources, plans for growth, and maintains its status as an internationally accredited agency through the Commission on Fire Accreditation International (CFAI).
In other words: what you say here helps shape how Cathedral City is protected tomorrow.
Responses will be used to improve emergency services, strengthen response efforts, and develop community programs — from fire prevention outreach to EMS delivery to youth engagement initiatives like the department’s growing Cadet Program.
A Department on the Move
The survey comes during a period of significant growth and investment for CCFE. Thanks to voter-approved Measure W, the department recently placed Medic 22, its fourth fully staffed ambulance, into service — expanding EMS coverage and reducing response times across the city. CCFE has also welcomed new firefighter/paramedics, promoted from within its ranks, and continues to build a homegrown workforce pipeline through its Cadet Program for young adults ages 16 to 21.
With all of this momentum, honest community feedback is more valuable than ever.

Taking the survey is quick and easy:
- Online: Click here to take the survey
- On your phone: Scan the QR code on the official CCFE flyer

- Submit your responses before the deadline
Enter to Win a Fire Station Dinner for Four
As a thank-you for participating, residents who complete the survey can register for a special drawing: a fire station dinner for four with your CCFE firefighters. It’s a one-of-a-kind chance to break bread with the men and women who serve our community every day, see station life up close, and connect with local first responders in a uniquely personal setting.
Mark Your Calendar
The survey closes on Friday, May 22, 2026. Don’t miss your opportunity to help shape the future of fire and emergency services in Cathedral City.
