Fall Prevention with Cathedral City Fire & EMS
Cathedral City Fire & EMS, in collaboration with the Cathedral City Senior Center, presents a free one-hour session on preventing falls. Staying active is essential to good health as we age, but the risk of falling, fracturing bones, or suffering a traumatic brain injury increases over time. Learn safe medicine practices, practical tips to fall-proof your home, steps to prevent fall-related injuries, and why gait and grip strength matter. According to the CDC, falls are a leading cause of injury and death among older adults, with roughly 36 million occurring each year.
Wednesday, September 16 | 10:00 – 11:00 AM
Cathedral City Senior Center, 37171 W. Buddy Rogers Ave.
Free to attend, no registration necessary. For more information, visit cathedralcity.gov/departments/fire-department or call (760) 770-8200.
Swap in CathedralCityFire.org if you’d rather match the flyer exactly — it’s shorter and easier to read on a calendar listing, which is a fair trade.
