The annual amateur boxing tournament, Coachella Valley Battle in the Desert, returns on Saturday, October 2, 2021 starting at 6 pm on the Festival Lawn in Downtown Cathedral City. Certified by USA Boxing, the tournament pits regional public safety personnel and other amateurs against each other as they compete in the sport of boxing.
The outdoor event will offer entertainment along with several food and beverage options for purchase. Gates will open at 5:30 pm and the first bout will occur at 6:30 pm. Tickets are available by calling Police Officer Jesus Gonzalez at (760) 335-8895.
Attendees should know that facial coverings should be worn at the event when social distancing around those outside of your household is not possible.
