Cathedral City Firefighters Raise Over $12,000 for MDA in Two Days
Cathedral City Firefighters Local 3654, along with the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA), kicked off the firefighters’ annual “Fill the Boot” fundraising campaign to help save and improve the lives of people fighting muscle disease in the Cathedral City area.
Thanks to the generosity of our residents and efforts of our local heroes volunteering their time, more than $12,000 was raised in two days to benefit the MDA.
Muscular dystrophy, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and other related life-threatening diseases take away people’s ability to walk, move, smile, talk and even breathe.
