CCHS Homecoming Parade Returned to Downtown

The Cathedral City High School Homecoming Parade returned to Downtown Cathedral City for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic shuttered all outdoor festivals and events.  The annual parade started near Perez Road on Cathedral Canyon Drive and went south to Avenida Lalo Guerrero.  The parade route ended in front of City Hall where the Homecoming Rally occurred to the delight of all the attendees.

CCHS Homecoming Parade features Palm Springs Unified School District (PSUSD) Board of Trustees, City Council of Cathedral City, the Homecoming King and Queen nominees, football team, cheerleading squad, ballet folklorico dancers, and marching band.  It also includes middle and elementary school students from within PSUSD.

As a special engagement, America’s Got Talent Finalist Emily West joined the CCHS Jazz Band and performed two songs together to complete the Homecoming Rally.  They performed “Moon River” and “At Last” to the crowd’s delight.
