The City of Palm Springs, in partnership with the City of Cathedral City and the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians, invites residents, business owners, and local commuters to attend two upcoming community meetings about the Ramon Road Bridge Project. Construction is officially scheduled to begin this winter, and these meetings will explain what to expect during the highly anticipated two-year infrastructure project.
At the meetings, attendees can connect directly with the project team to:
- Get the latest project updates
- Learn about construction phasing
- Sign up for alerts
- Join the “Business is Open During Construction” program
Two meetings have been scheduled to maximize community participation and accessibility.
Meeting 1 (In-Person & Online)

Both meetings will offer complimentary food, free opportunity drawings, and ASL and Spanish interpretation. Everyone in the community is encouraged to attend.
About the Project
The Ramon Road Bridge Project will significantly improve traffic flow, increase public safety, and enhance connectivity along one of the Coachella Valley’s busiest transportation corridors. The bridge serves more than 40,000 vehicles daily. The project will widen it from four lanes to six, add seismic retrofitting and flood resilience measures, and build new sidewalks and protected bicycle lanes that connect to the CV Link pathway.
