CONE ZONE ALERT: Ramon Road Resurfacing Project to Cause Traffic Delays Starting Wednesday, April 13th

Road crews will resurface Ramon Road from Date Palm Drive to Da Vall Drive with a Rubberized Emulsion Aggregate Slurry (REAS) as part of its road maintenance plan starting on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 through Tuesday, April 19, 2022 with exception of the weekend dates.  Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction at various times during the week.  However, access to businesses along Ramon Road will remain open.

Scheduled Construction Activity:

  • April 13: Two outside lanes on westbound Ramon Road will be closed to apply slurry.  Eastbound lanes will not be affected.
  • April 14: Two outside lanes on eastbound Ramon Road will be closed to apply slurry.  Westbound lanes will not be affected.
  • April 15: The inside lane and turn pockets will be closed in both directions.  A left turn will be permitted at the signal intersection.  Outside 2 lanes will be open to traffic in both directions.
  • April 18: The outside lanes in both directions will have lane restrictions so the windows at driveways can be slurred.  The number 1 and 2 lanes will be open in both directions.
  • April 19: The window at the intersection will be closed.  All 3 lanes open in both directions that day.

Motorists will experience delays as a result of scheduled lane closures.  An alternative route would be to utilize Dinah Shore Drive for east – west travel.
