CATHEDRAL CITY, CA [May 27, 2021] The City of Cathedral City has been notified that crews will be making upgrades to the traffic signals at the intersection of East Palm Canyon Drive and Perez Road on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 and Wednesday, June 2, 2021. The traffic signals will be in Red Flash Mode causing all four directions of traffic to stop before proceeding. The following week, crews will make signal improvements at the intersection of East Palm Canyon Drive and Cathedral Canyon Drive on Monday, June 7, 2021 and Tuesday, June 8, 2021. The work will create traffic delays at these intersections for all affected roads. Motorists should use an alternative route such as Dinah Shore Drive for east and west travel or Date Palm Drive for north and south travel.
